Summer in Northern New Mexico

Northern New Mexico is a great place to visit during the summer months. There are plenty of outdoor events to stop by and visit. 

I know in Mora and Las Vegas there will be fiestas coming up this summer where plenty of delicious Northern New Mexican cuisine can be found. I am always blown away by how much artistry is alive and well in this part of our state. 

As a child I can remember how busy the one highway going through the Mora Valley got during the fiestas in July. I was always surprised to see so many people gathered in the small community to celebrate together. It is a very fun place to be! 

Red River, Taos, Angel Fire and so much more to see and experience in the northern part of NM. In my efforts of supporting local, I encourage everyone to travel our state and stop into the local merchant locations for a meal or to shop in these beautiful communities. I know we are never disappointed!
