Leaves Falling

Leaves falling all around
Leaves falling to the ground

Some soft and light,
Some whoosh and swirl with fright

Each leaf a pattern all its’ own
Each leaf to land and crunch alone

The winter cold sets in and steals
The leaves with colorful heels

Then spring again will root
Leaves grow all green aloof

Summer leaves stretch out as shade
To cool a space, to invade

Autumn again, leaves start falling
The colors repeat their part
