Autumn Vibe

I absolutely love this time of year. This year we felt cooler temperatures in NM on the first day of Fall. That is not usually how it goes. We tend to have a gradual change from hot temperatures in August to cooler by the end of September or early October. However we get there, it is always a welcome season.

I asked my youngest granddaughter if she liked the fall. At first, she did not understand my question. Then I changed from saying Fall to say Autumn, and she started talking about other seasons like Winter. It made me think about those two words: autumn and fall. Autumn has such a warm and cozy connotation and Fall, well it’s good unless you’re 3 and don’t understand why it’s also called Fall.

Whatever you call it, I hope it comes with all the cozy and warm you crave. I hope to spend a lot of the Autumn season doing the same. And don’t forget all the pumpkins!
