Coffee with a Character

If I had a chance to have coffee with one of my characters, I would want it to be Suzanah Grace Klein Kammer. She demonstrates the matriarchal place in the Kammer family, and I am currently in that place for my own family. I would ask her so many questions about family and handling difficult situations that come and go in life. I would lean into her and try to gain so much from her, feeling hopeful some of her wisdom and grace would transfer over to me. I would seek her comfort and hope that I could be a better person after spending time with her, and I would pay for her coffee.
