What I Learned about Self-Publishing

I finished a complete novel! Now what? As I finished editing and re-editing and multiple times editing, I began to wonder if I could publish my book. The answer was a clear, YES, I can, and I did. My first ever book is published with a launch date of March 9, 2023, just around the corner.

Let me back up to how this all started. In the fall of 2022 I found an advertisement for Xulon Press, a Christian “Self-Publishing” Company. My curiosity for what that meant led me to hitting the link to “request information.” I started receiving emails from Xulon Press and ultimately scheduled a call with someone in sales. The company offered several packages. I picked the option that best met what I was looking for, then paid for their services to get me published.

Have I regretted any of it? That’s a big NO! Would I do it again? That’s a definite YES!
