What Writing Feels Like Today

I really thought my third book would be done and printed and published by now. There are so many reasons why that has not happened yet, and most of those reasons don’t mean anything to me anymore. 

As far as sitting down and writing goes, that’s the easy part. Connecting the three books has been the most challenging part. It’s a good challenge because it makes me really focus and check myself as I write. 

I tend to edit as I write but the words that I wrote two or more years ago tend to get lost somewhere in my mind. 

So, now, while I am just a few chapters from finishing the third book, I find myself needing to go back over what I have written in book three just to validate things like names of characters (to be sure I have not repeated a name), or seasons and even the various generations that now need to come together at the end of the series and make sense. It is no small feat. 

This is exactly where I am with book three right now. Hopefully the next few months bring it all together to complete story. I truly cannot wait for all three stories to be completed, and for a few exciting additions to become available.
