My Experience Part III - What I’m learning about feedback.

Feedback is a scary part of writing. I remember talking with an author colleague one time after having read one of her books. I started the conversation with, “So, I read your book.” What I didn’t know then was how that makes a writer’s stomach flip inside out and backwards! I quickly apologized and went on to say all the positive things I had intended to say (after a good amount of laughter).

Yes, feedback is scary! I have been excited and pleased and amazed by the feedback I have gotten so far. I take a deep breath when a post pops up, or I get a text.

I think what I have learned about this step is that no matter what the feedback, it will help me as I work on book 2 and then book 3. I look forward to more feedback!

I welcome reviews too. They can be added on Amazon, and it will help me with future sales. I really only want the good ones! 😉
