Field of Blessings

As I was praying one afternoon, over En-Spire Life, I picked up a little book called “The Prayer of Jabez” which tells the story of Jabez, from the Bible, in 1 Chronicles Chapter 4. One statement on a page in that little book jumped out at me. The author was describing how Jabez prayed and basically that he asked God to bless him and bless him big! The author wrote, “There, stretching to the horizon, are fields of blessings. And Jabez steps forward into another life.”

Vernon and I had just gotten back from a weekend trip up north where we had seen the abundant, beautiful fields of yellow wildflowers everywhere, as in the photo attached. We walked through them, we drove through them, and we took pictures of them. I had been looking at my pictures and after I read the words from the little book about Jabez, it hit me that my own “Field of Blessings” is what is to come! As the abundance of yellow wildflowers blessed me so much, such is the way God wants to bless me, and bless me big! (By the way, He wants to bless us all in big ways!)

I have been praying about En-Spire Life for a long time now, and I don’t know how, where or when God will bless it, but I do know He wants me to have a “Field of Blessings!” I can’t wait to “step forward into another life” (of coaching full time), and into that field! I am excited for the future, to know all the blessings and to follow His lead along the way!
